How could I search through a column of numbers and decifer if let's say
the number is greater than 50 and add/count up the ones that are?

Thanks for any help!
 
Here are a couple ways

=COUNTIF(A1:A100,">50")

=SUMPRODUCT(--(A1:A100>50))
