Countdowns

Hi,

I'm looking to use Powerpoint to create a timer countdown to put on a DVD
for a quiz night i've organised for this coming Staurday 15th October.

I think i know what i'm doing to get the timer to countdown (time will
tell) but what i'm looking for is some advice on how to convert a ppt to a
mpg movi file.

Any help would be really appreciated.

There are a few converters out there but I suggest you TRY them before
buying as the results are usually less than acceptable for most users.
