Count in a query

I have a query to pull specific data with X amt of days. I need to find out
how many records there are for that specific vendor. I tried running the
query and put in an extra vendor in the query with total as count but than I
only get 1 down the column.
So what I am looking for is all data and than for ex Walmart how many times
are they on the list?

"How" depends on "what"...

We can't see your data, so we can only offer the most general ideas of
"how" -- use a Totals query with selection criteria...

An appropriate Totals query with appropriate critera should work.

Since you don't post any information about your table structure or your query
it's a bit difficult to be more specific than that.
