Couldn't upgrade

I nearly got to the end of upgrading from Vista Beta to Vista RC when I got
a message to say it was unable to upgrade and to revert back to Beta.

Any ideas?

I also checked with Upgrade Advisor, and it said everything was fine.

Did you disable or remove such sofware as antivirus programs?

No, but it did check for any updates.

Disable or remove.

I did a fresh (new) install and it seems to have worked.
