Could use some help!

When copying a database file to give to my partner in our small business,
the copied database becomes "read only". How can I get around that problem?
I need to share my database with him so that he can enter data the same as I
do and we can compare results to assure correct data entry.

Thanks for the help!

If you're copying the database to/from a CD, the file's Read-only
attribute will be set (because files on CDROMs are naturally expected to
be read-only). If this is the problem, then after copying the file back
onto a hard disk, right-click the file, choose Properties from the popup
menu, and un-check the Read-only attribute on the property sheet.

Thanks Dirk, I hadn't thought about that. I appreciate your rapid response.
Have a great day and I will take care of the problem.

Thanks Again!
