Could this be a virus?

Example of what happens:

I open New York Times.I click on one of the links then before going to
the link the font the link is written with changes.

My computer is acting kind of unstable(sometimes slow and some other
small problems) but I can't detect anything. Does anyone have a hint?

You are being attacked by a liberal worm , originating from the New York
Times. JJ
 
Probably NOT a virus but worse!! Adware/Spyware is probably responsible. Try
Ad-Aware 6 by Lavasoft. (no, I don't get royalties from seding customers to
their web site. :-)
