Could someone help me identify this?

I just found an entry in Sygate Personal Firewall which said:

i:\1e342efdf4tergergrtgrt434\update\update.exe

The first folder name is made up, but it looks similar, i.e. lots of
nonsense.

This application was marked as "Allow" by SPF and I cannot remember
ever allowing it and of course the weird folder name has me
suspicious.

I'm running NAV 2004 with the latest definitions, but it hasn't picked
up anything and, according to windows, the the file isn't there.

Can anyone put my mind at rest?

It is probably used to keep the firewall program updated, although
I couldn't find anything online to back this theory up. It would make
sense for a security related program to keep such a file in a randomly
named location to help to avoid intruders guessing at its location.

Maybe you could join in one of their forums, or go to a firewall
newsgroup and ask there?
