What is the exact error message and when do you get the error?
What events are being logged in the system event log in correlation?
What does the drive show up as in device manager?
Was this a volume that was recently deleted/added to the SAN?
Typically these come down to bad fibre drivers/firmware or the SAN being
misconfigured.
