Hi,

I have two Windows 2000 Advanced servers connected to a
Fibre Channel Switch which is then connected to an IBM
FAStT 600 Storage Server with EXP 700 Expansion. I am
trying to set them up as Clustered file servers. The
first server runs beautifully, it has all three SAN
volumes showing as drives, we can copy files to these
drives and the two Hard Drives within the server are
mirrored no problems.

The second Server (identical in every way I can see both
hardware and software), can only see one of the SAN
volumes, and I can mirror the drives within the server and
watch them regenerate and finish without error but when I
reboot the mirror disappears. The event in the event log
states "dmboot: Volume Volume1 (C:) started in failed
redundancy mode." The san volume I do see, states in the
event log "The file system structure on the disk is
corrupt and unusable." Please run the chkdsk utility on
the volume E:. " yet it is fine on the first server.

I have run a diagnostics on the server with no errors. In
despiration I have also completely rebuilt the server but
am having the same problems. I am at a loss.

Please help!

Thanks,
Natasha
