Could not connect to terminal service

I have a windows 2000 professional computer which was
upgraded from NT 4.0. This machine was able to connect to
the terminal server for 90 days but after the 90 days it
would not connect. Please help i thought you don't have to
buy CAL's for windows 2000 professional machines to get
connection.
 
You are correct...you don't need to buy TSCALs for Windows
2000 Pro, however, if you are running in application mode
then you need to have an activated TS Licensing Server
running in your domain. If you don't want to run a
licensing server, then put your terminal server in remote
admin mode.
