Could keyboard malfunction be a registry issue?

I've used a wonderful Keytronic keyboard for 10 years, using it with every
generation of computer I purchase.

Yesterday, the space bar quit working along with the delete keys and the 3,
6, and 9 on the numeric keypad. So, today, I purchased a brand new keytronic
keyboard to replace it but whoops, the same problem remains. I switched to
this piece of crap microsoft keyboard that does not appear to have any key
problems but when I switch back to either of the keytronic keyboards, the
same problems pop up.

I'm stumped. I deleted the keyboard driver and rebooted but that didn't
affect anything.

Any ideas as to what to do would be appreciated.

Thx

The first thing I would do is contact Keytronic support since this
problem seems specific to their keyboards.

What happened yesterday? Did you install any programs or updates?
Perhaps System Restore to the day before yesterday will have a positive
effect.
