Cosmopolitan Virtual Makeover Program

I installed this program and when I go to use it I get this message:

Unsupported Video Mode
"Virtual Makeover Needs A Display With Thousands of colors Please change the
color depth and try again"

I do not know what this means.... or how to change the color depth.....

Thank you for helping me to try and solve this program issue.
