Corrupted Wastebasket

It is impossible to view the flies deleted from the
wastebasket, and thus impossible to restore them.

Click on Kelly's link below, click on "R" and scroll down to the RECYCLE
BIN area. Something there may help.

I tried the suggestions on Kelly's link, but I guess that
since my Windows environment is in French the files have
different names, because I could not access cd\recycled...

Your Recycle Bin could be corrupt. Usually the easiest fix, if in fact the
Recycle Bin is enabled for the drive you're using: With the Recycle Bin
CLOSED, right click the desktop Recycle Bin icon and then on the resulting
context menu left click Empty Recycle Bin. Then reboot your system. After
doing the above, when you delete a file or files, they should now appear in
the Recycle Bin, and if you click on a file to select it, and then click the
File menu and then click Restore, the file should restore.
