Corrupted system fonts

The computer woke up this am showing all greek fonts for
system messages, and many of the applications. Clicking
desktoproperties only yields more greek. Tried
rebooting to last known good boot but same thing. I've
had this setup for 2 years with nearly 0 problems; short
of a reinstall of W2K I don't know where tostart looking
for the problem. Any suggestions welcomed.....

I had the same problem. Run the win2k set up CD. click on setup.exe. the
program will repair the corrupted fontsl without disturbing your settings.
you will need to run service pack4 and IE6 upgrades again.
