Just recently i installed a wireless usb internet card.
It worked fine, but the next day when i started up my
computer i received an error saying, "Windows cannot load
your profile because it may be corrupted." I have no
idea how to fix this and some of the items i had on my
desktop are no longer there. And when i went into my
start menu, some of the things that were there after the
first time i shut down the computer, are no longer there
either. All the files seem to be ok, but i can't load
certain programs such as Mas90. Anyone have a solution???

You can rename the corrupt profile (and the temp .00n profiles) while logged
on as another user with local administrative rights, then when you logon
again a new default profile will be created. You can then copy the parts you
need from the corrupt profile \Desktop, \Favorites, etc. Don't copy the
folders, but copy their contents instead. After you have all copied, you can
delete the corrupt profile and all of the system.00n profiles.

Use the import function of Outlook. For your OE newsgroups check out Tom
Kochs' (Tom is one of the OE MVP's) web site for this info and more on
recovering your Outlook Express stuff.
