Corrupted Internet Explorer 6, SP1

I would like to completely uninstall internet explorer,
and reinstall it. The repair Internet explorer doesn't
work, as the return to a previous explorer version also
doesn't work. I have Windows 98 se. I don't mind editing
the registry to do it. Its already Backed up.
