Corrupted history log

I would like not to delete the history log if possible. I would like to know
if there are any utilities to rebuild it and also to be able to transfer to a
file

IEHistoryView- NirSoft: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/iehv.html will allow
you to save the data in the History files in several formats.

I don't know of a way to rebuild the History folder. I think you'll have to
delete it.
