Corrupted FONTS

Can anyone tell me the proper way to restore/reset my WINDOWS/FONTS file? I
have XP Pro.

Would I use the setup options on the xp pro cd and if so, can I just
restore the fonts only?

I'd appreciate any help you could give.

Throw up an email, and I'll email you the fonts. Then you just go to FONTS
in the CONTROL PANEL and ADD FONTS. IT will ask you about overwriting the
existing fonts....just say yes.

I tried copying over some fonts that I knew were ok. I tried installing
through control panel/fonts but it would not let me overwrite the existing
fonts. It displayed a message that I needed to delete the font then add.

The problem is that there are a few fonts that I am unable to delete. When
I try I get the message (font MARLETT for example): Cannot delete MARLETT:
Access is denied.

I am the administrator, so that's not the problem.

If anyone knows what I can do to delete, please let me know.

I would suggest a repair instead of a complete re-install.
