corrupted database

My database is corrupted. It will open and I can un-hide
the database window, but any attempt to open and of the
tables, forms, modules, etc fails. I have tried a compact
and repair. I have also tried to copy the individual
items to a new database. I have tried to import into a
new database. Nothing seems to work. I have done a lot
of work on this recently and going back to a back up is
not really an option. Is there any other way to repair a
database?

How does it fail? What's the message?

What message do you get when you copy the objects into a new MDB?
