Any one got suggestions about how to recover data from a
zip file that is corrupted? The file is 4.04Gb in size
and I believe that that is the reason it is corrupt.

Try using WinRAR. It's got a feature that supposidly fixes ZIP files or
something. I've never used it, just seen it....

It sounds as if you tried to create the zip file on a fat32 partition/drive.
The maximum size of the file is capped at 4 gig, but the data you were
copying needed more that 4 gig. Therefore, you don't have a complete .zip
file. The tail end of it has been corrupted and it is not recoverable.
