Corrupt video in Windows Media

Hi,

About half of the videos I try to open in Windows Media
Player won't open because the computer says they
are "corrupted." What is going on here? I have installed
DivX on my system and am running XP Pro.

Try playing them in other players, if they dont play obtain new copies.
 
Forget WMP or DivX a lot of stuff is now XVid or needs
special codecs. Search out VideoLAN and download the vlc
player. It plays anything!!!
