Corrupt user

I have a corrupt user in Windows XP and when I click on
their folder I get the message that it can not be
assessed. Is there a way to capture the files that have
gone to this users folder?
C:\My document and folders\userid

Take ownership of the folder and files. Then you will be able to access
them.
