Corrupt .ldb

G

Graham

Using Access 97 on a stand-alone PC I crashed the
database. The .ldb file remains and I am now unable to
open one particular table in design mode.

I cannot delete either the .ldb or the .mdb (any attempts
to delete or move these files brings up a message that the
file is in use by another person or program)

It's important that I continue this project using the same
table names and the same file path.

Is there a way to get at this file to remove the locks?

Many thanks

Reboot the machine that has the .ldb file on it, then delete it.
