corrupt installation files

When I try to download iTunes a message appears that says, "Some installation
files are corrupt. Please download a fresh copy and retry the installation."
I saw a similar problem posted but no solution. I am an admin. user and I've
contacted Apple, who told me that the problem is with Windows.
What's going on!
Help me Obi Wan; I want my rocknroll!
 
Perhaps the install files are corrupt, tried a re download?
Does it happen with other downloads?
Are you using Nvidea Active Armor? if so disable/stop it and download again
