corrupt IE

I have downloaded and used both Spybot and AD-Ware. I
thought I got rid of all spyware. Some websites I know
are there, cannot be found. How can I fix my corrupt IE?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Are the sites blocked by a hosts file?

It may be a HOSTS file problem.
Look also for a file named HOSTS (no extension, could be hidden) rename it
OLDHOSTS, reboot.
