Corrupt Database

Can anyone suggest a solution for accessing my corrupt database.

I have a database (.mdb) which seems corrupt. The database is a one file
database (ie there is no backend). It is password protected using the "Set
database password" option from tools/Security Menu.

On opening the database it comes up with the message "Not a valid bookmark".
I have tried to open the database using the shift key and also have tried to
create a new database and import all the objects and tables but just get the
same error message as above.

Any ideas?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hope you have a backup... they're NOT optional! :-{(

See the suggestions at

The "bookmark" error indicates (probably) that one or more tables'
indexes are corrupt, possibly a system table given the symptoms. But
Tony's site will give detailed suggestions and links to third-party
data salvage companies should they be necessary.
