Corrupt Database

Yesterday a client called me with a corrupt database. I
walked him through the repair and all seemed fine.

Today, it corrupted again and will not repair. I am
getting the following errors:

When I open the database: It tells me the database needs
to be repaired or isn't a database file.... Do you want
Microsoft Access to attempt to repair the database?

I click yes.

Then the following message comes up: The microsoft jet
database engine could not find the object 'Databases'.
Make sure the object exists and that you spell its name
and the path correctly.

I click OK and it comes back with: The database can't be
repaired or isn't a Microsoft Access Database file.

Any ideas on getting this back? I have a back up from
yesterday but don't really want to loose a days work and I
am not sure how good the back up is since the problems
started yesterday.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

OR
You might try the old standby:
Create a new / blank DB.
On the Tables tab, click New > Import then
browse to the "damaged" DB and select it.
Then another small database window will appear.
One by one import all the tables, forms, reports, etc. etc.
All objects!

Hopefully this will work, but it doesn't always.

Good Luck!
