Correlation Analysis Tool - Output Range Error

User

I have a range of data on Sheet1 in Myfile.xlsx, and start to run Data
Analysis/Correlation with the following specifications:

Input Range: $B$1:$K$151
Grouped by: Columns
Labels in first row: Checked

For Output Options, if I select New Worksheet Ply and click OK, the tool
works and displays the result.
If instead I select Output Range, and choose a cell on the same sheet as the
data, say Sheet1!$M$1, the tool works and displays the result.
However, if I choose a cell on another sheet as the Output Range, say
Sheet2!$A$1, the following message appears:

Correlation - Output range must be a valid reference

If I click OK, I notice that the Output Range box now contains:

[MyFilename.xlsx].Sheet2!R1C1

If I click Help instead, Excel just opens the main Help window without going
to a specific section.

This happens whether I type in the output cell reference or select it with
the cursor.

There is only one other site where I've seen the same problem posted (in
1994 and 1995), and without a clear resolution (re-running the tool did not
work for me). If someone here can assist, it would be greatly appreciated.
