Correcting misspelled additions

I believe that I inadvertently selected add to my misspelling of the word
"the" because now whenever I type "teh", the spell check does not correct it.

I am a lousy typist and need to get taht misspelling out of there. How do I
do that?

Go to Control Panel>Select 'Classic View' (top left), Folder Options>enable
'show hidden files and folders'.

The user dictionary can be accessed at C:\Users\user
name\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail\UserDictionary.lex
Open with Wordpad and edit out the word and the space it leaves>save

Or use this utility:

The download link is in the text below the graphic.

The user dictionary is located at
C:\Users\(youraccount)\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail
it's named UserDictionary.lex
and is a text file that can be edited.

\AppData is normally hidden

In the newer Windows Live Mail, the user dictionary is easily edited from
within the program.
