Anyone, off hand, know anything about CorelDraw 10's "CorelCpature" (screen
grab) utility, giving problems in XP ?

I have CorelDraw10 installed with sp1 and sp2 updates. Earlier today, the
CorelCapture utility kept giving an error and would not run, so just for fun
I set it's compatibility setting to W98/Me and now it works okay. So could
I be right in suspecting that this utility, part of the CorelDraw 10 suite,
is a clapped out old W98 thing, that hasn't been properly tweaked up for XP
?

Yes, Corel Draw 10 is an old version of the program and not "properly
tweaked up for XP", as you put it. Just use it in the compatibility mode
that works and you should be ok. Either that or upgrade to version 12.
