Hello,

I have developed a database for use at work and
now some others are intersted in using it. Some are
also intersted in marketing it.

How do I protect it as mine?

TIA

Owen

You need to consult with an attorney who specializes in Patent, Copyright,
and Intellectual Property Law. You may get a lot of opinions here, but don't
rely on them, or on any "as a general rule" -- too many specifics are
involved.

For example, if it was developed for use at work where you were an employee,
it may well belong to your employer, regardless of how clear it may seem to
you that it is yours. If you were a contractor, then other factors are
involved. See that attorney.
