Copying URLs into message board

When I copy a URL into a Yahoo message board, it pastes
the URL as text, instead of pasting it as a
hyperlink. "Paste Link" is not an option with IE. I see
people do this all the time, yet I can't seem to be able
to do it. What is the simple trick?

What is the simple trick?

Using a real newsreader such as Outlook Express
and Not using the old web interface that you are using.

Try copying the following to your Address bar and click Go

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/support/newsgroups/default.asp#section1

You will see links in there under Browser labeled
<Web-based viewer>
and
<Open with newsreader>

Try the latter unless you are forced to use a web browser to read news.
Actually I think that the new web interface also supports links so the first
link will probably seem like an improvement to you too.
