When using Office XP I have run into the following problem that was not an
issue in Office 2000. When I copy the output of a query, which includes
numerical data in some fields, all of the fields are treated as text in
Excel. To convert the "numeric" fields to numeric in Excel I must highlight
each column and click Data - Text to Columns - Finish. Each column must be
done individually. Is there a solution so that Excel will recognize the
numeric data? Thanks
