Copying .pst files between Outlook 2003 and 2007 reguarly

I have been running Outlook 2003 on a desktop and a laptop and regularly copy
the .pst file from the desktop to the laptop when travelling and then back
again on my return. This has worked fine and ensure both machines always
have all my mail, contacts etc.
I am purchasing a new desktop with Office 2007. I gather from other posts
here that I can copy the 2003 .pst file into 2007 but can I still copy back
from 2007 to 2003 when travelling? I saw one coment that 2007 writes
additional data to the .pst file. Will this be a problem to 2003?
Thanks Phil

Dear Arpeggio,

Fwiw, I do exactly that and don't have a problem with it. The RSS
Feeds folder just sits there on my notebook Outlook 2003 of course;
but does not seem to be a problem. I recommend you do a few tests and
keep a clean 2007 PST copy handy in case things go wrong.

Hope that helps.

Thanks and I will certainly backup the 2007.pst file before I do anything else.
