copying photos to cd on drive E

I am trying to copy photos from My Pictures to Drive E and i get the error
message
"Windows encountered a problem when trying to copy this file..."

It plays my audio cd's but will not allow me to copy photos to disk. Any
help would be appreciated.
 
First thing to check would be:
Right click on your CD drive listed as Removal storage in My Computer. Click
on Properties on the opening menu and click on the Recording tab in the
opening window. Check the box "Enable...."
