Copying Personal Distribution Lists

I'm working with Outlook 2000, and I have personal distribution lists setup
in my Contacts folder (e.g. they're only available to me, not on the Global
Address List). Is there any way to take one of these DL's, copy it, save it
under a new name, and not have to re-enter all the individual names and
E-mail addresses that are found within?

My specific example: I have a DL already built for all the participants in
a golf tournament from a year ago -- roughly 35 names. I'd like to setup a
new, different DL for this year's tournament, and I'd like to populate that
new DL with all the names from last year's DL. I can't for the life of me
find a way to copy/paste an entire DL, or export/import an entire DL into a
new DL, etc, etc.

Again, I'm using Outlook 2000. Any help would be appreciated.

R click and drag the DL to make a copy. Save it with a different name.

Unfortunately, when I open my Address Book to display my DL's, I'm unable to
click & drag any of those DLs -- left-clicking and dragging just selects
multiple entries in my Address book (not what I want), and right-clicking
only displays 2 options -- "Properties" and "Delete". No option for 'copy',
'paste', etc. If I right-click and then move (drag) my mouse cursor, it just
highlights more options on the list, up or down depending on which direction
I'm moving. When I let go of the mouse button, nothing happens. So
'dragging' doesn't appear to be a function on this screen.

Let me know if anyone is willing to dialogue about this via E-mail, outside
of this discussion forum, so I could send some screen prints, etc. It
appears to me that Microsoft has overlooked what would seem to be a rather
common/logical feature to have -- the ability to copy/paste DL's in your
Address book (?).

Again, as a reminder, I'm using Outlook 2000. Thanks for any further help
anyone can provide.

Wanted to let folks know that I finally got this figured out -- I was trying
to find a copy/paste function within the context of my Address Book screen,
and it apparently isn't available there. However, when opening up my
Contacts screen, I was able to do a copy/paste to setup a new personal DL
(with the same name as an existing one), then change the name of the new DL
to start working on it. This brought over all the existing entries within
that new DL, so was exactly what I was looking for. "Done"!

You would use the Contacts Folder interface for this. Never try to add or
edit Outlook data in the Address Book view.
