I have used my Pioneer DVD Re-Writer for about a year now
to burn music files onto CD using Windows Media Player
9. Though now, it shows an error message saying that
files are unable to record to disc. It is able to
convert them but as soon as it reaches the stage to copy
to cd, it quickly skips a stage and "closes disk"

Please Help!

Dump WMP9 for burning - its very limited. Get Nero 6 which can do DVD and
CD's. If you do, turn off the WMP burner. Right click on My Computer >
Manage > Services and Applications > Services and disable IMAPI CD Burning
ROM Service. Re-boot and installl your brand new shiny Nero.

Cheers,
Jerry
