I have a large number of emails stored in one particular folder in Internet
Explorer's inbox. I would like to copy the heading and the content of each
individual email to a CD or DVD, all in one go, so that I can erase them
from the folder and access them at my will from the CD or DVD. I do not
wish to make a back up but merely to copy them, and I do not want to go to
the trouble of opening each individual email and have to copy and paste or
whatever.

Can anyone kindly tell me how I can do this in a simple and fast manner?

Thank you.

Create an empty folder in Windows Explorer. Leave Windows Explorer open.
Open Outlook Express and click the Minimize button at the top right side of
the screen. Position OE so that you can see the Inbox and the new folder you
created. Select all of the emails that you wish to save from the Inbox and
drag/drop them into the new folder you created. The emails will appear as
complete, individual files.

Yes, I meant to type O.E. A stupid slip of the first finger. Thank you
both for your help. I am now able to do what I want. Most grateful

Geoff.
