Copying files from w2k prof to NT-Server slow

Copying files from w2k prof to nt-Server seems to take forever, up to 30 sec. even very small files.
Any ideas, thanks for help

You're not saying which protocol you are using, you're not saying
which network settings you are using (Autodetect? Or fixed
transmission speed? Half or Full Duplex?) You are not saying which
components you are using (Crosslinked connection or switches/hub
between your computers). You are not saying which network services you
are using (WINS? DNS?).

Do you think we are physic?
