Copying E-Mails in Outlook 2002

Somebody has saved my e-mails on a memory stick. I now try to copy them back
to Outlook. He has not exportet my e-mails as a .pst file instead he says I
should just drag and drop the mails from my explorer to my Outlook. I copied
the mails first onto my desktop and created a separate file in Outlook where
I want to place my mails.

However, I am getting the message "The item could not be copied"...on my
other laptop with Outlook 2003 it works without any problems. Do I need to
change any settings in order to copy my mails in Outlook 2002.

Any help is appreciated.

Many thanks.
