copying dvd mini disc to hard drive

How do I copy my dvd mini disc to a folder in hard drive and then later onto
a dvd disc to play on tv. In plain english as I am new
hope someone can help.
 
Put the mini DVD in the DVD drive, click on My Computer, select the DVD
drive by right clicking on it and then clicking on Explore.

From the Toolbar, Edit, Select All, Edit, Copy..... navigate to where you
want to put the files and then click on Edit, Paste.
