I've only been using Windows Vista for about 7-10 days. The question that I
have pertains to the numerous warnings that are presented when attempting to
copy files to a destination hard drive -- in this case an external hard drive
-- where older versions of those same files exist.
In Windows XP Professional you were given the general warning about
overwriting files. Clicking yes to begin the overwrite process was the one
and only time you had to exercise using the mouse button in responding to
this warning.
But with Windows Vista (I'm using the Ultimate version, by the way) there
are multiple warnings and multiple questions and multiple windows that are
brought up in association with overwriting files.
(Of course this brings to mind the Apple commercials dealing with this
subject and making fun of all the warnings...)
So is it possible to turn off such redundant and multitudinous warnings? If
so, how?
Thanks for any and all input!
