Copying a Layout

I use Access to manipulate a text datafile that I receive every month. I
need to change the layout used to import the file to Access. How can I copy
the layout that is another database to the database I'm using.

Hello FA,

Are you asking how to copy an import specification from one .mdb file to
another? If so, just use:
File > Get External Data > Import...

Navigate to the source database. Click on the button labelled "Options >>".
Place a tick in the option that reads "Import/Export Specs".

If not, please explain in greater detail what you are needing to accomplish.
