I thought at PPTLive (or semi-live, if you went to the bar with some
of the big boys and girls and didn't recover quickly...) that either
Echo or Sonia showed a way to:
1) Click on an object
2) Copy the formatting of that object
3) Applying the formatting of that object to 'nuther object

I KNOW that SteveR's PPTools has that ability with the "eyedropper" in
ShapeStyles...but I thunk that there wuz 'nuther way...

Well, there's the Format Painter. Is that what you had in mind? It looks
like a house painter's brush.

Grits....

There is something called the "format painter" in powerpoint. But I've never
got the hang of how it works.

I use to little "eye dropper" tools. One eye dropper picks up the
formatting. The other "applies" the formatting to any object you then click
on.

If you look at the "custom toolbar" on this page
http://www.powerpointbackgrounds.com/powerpointtips.htm

You will see what the 2 eye droppers look like, and more importantly how you
get your own!

My favorite tool on this particular custom toolbar is located bottom right
;)

It was Format Painter, Charles. TAJ's suggestion for the eyedropper
tools works similarly, too.

And.... If you click an object and then double click the format painter
(paintbrush button), you can apply the formatting to each of the next
objects you click on.

Thank you, boys and girls, for your help!!!

I fer-got that you can use the format painter for an object...I was
only familiar with it for
entire-slide-presentation-to-another-entire-presentation usage!
