Hi all,

I have a 1TB RAID5 setup and have recently bought a 1TB USB drive. I
wanted to get a utility which would essentially do the following:

1. Copy all the data from the RAID5 drive to the USB drive.

2. Verify any files copied over properly (have heard that copy with
the /verify command isn't a true verify)

3. After that, at a click, it will scan and "one-way-sync" files from
RAID5->USB. ie: if a file is created/updated on the RAID5, this will
be updated/verified on the USB drive.

Can anyone recommend anything? Hopefully someone out there has been
doing something similar!!

Thanks!!

Is this a boot drive or just DATA?
SyncToy will do what you stated, but on a schedule or manual start.

Otherwise you will definitely be looking for a file/folder synchronbization
utility - of which there are a few. Some made more for corporate level
synchs.
