Not all CD burners are CD-RW drives. Check under 'My Computer' to see how
the drive is listed, is it CD-R or CD-RW? You may also want to check the
front of the drive for any printing that will identify the drive type. I
would try to burn the presentation to a regular CD-R and see if that works.
Also, just to make sure, you are not trying to save to the CD from within
PowerPoint, right? It is always better to use a CD burning software (or
Windows CD writing tools) to transfer the files. Never run a presentation
from any type of removable media.
