Copy & paste by drag & drop appending a paragraph

A minor inconvenience when I want to move a selection of text to the end of a
paragraph occurs due to the necessity of adding a new line or new paragraph
beforehand. I would appreciate very much if there would be some functionality
for automatically inserting a copied selection below a paragraph.
