Copy Outlook Express Address book without Export/Import

New OS install recovering from HD crash. I Need to restore OE address book
from a compressed DriveImage backup copy of the OS. Files can be copied from
the backup to my new OS install. Can not run OE from backup to perform an
export that could be imported with the new install. My only idea is to copy
files directly. Is this possible?
My original plan was to restore the driveimage backup and then export, but
restore will not run on new drive, so I think all I can do is copy the
individual address book files into the new install. Anyone can help?

Outlook Express is a part of Internet Explorer and is a quite different
program despite its similar name..

You will probably get a faster and more expert answer if you post this to an
outlook express news group.
