We are running Exchange 2000 server with Outlook 2003 as the client. When
setting up outlook on a computer to authenticate to the Exchange server,
outlook sets up a local copy of the mailbox on the client computer. Is it
possible to view the exchange mail without setting up a local copy? Thanks.

Mitch

Yes, you would create a mail profile on the client that (a) does not use
Cached Exchange mode and (b) does not use classic offline folders.

This is driving me batty, I'v had my computer for months now and can not seem
to send or receive mail.

I have outlook 6, have tried using SMTP, POP 3 and HTTP as hosts....what am

Contact your ISP for the mailserver and login details
