Copy Menu Items

On the Format menu list, there is a Horizontal Spacing item. I'd like to
Copy that item to a toolbar (and of course leave it where it is also).

How is this done?

The item you mentioned is a group divider, which does not have to be copied.
Simply right-click on the toolbar/menu you want to change, choose Customize,
then right-click on the desired menu item/button image and choose Begin a
Group.

Note: If you are using Office 2007, toolbars have been replaced with the
Office Ribbon which works very differently. The divider may be positioned
vertically depending on the orientation of the toolbar/menu.

Well Curious, this is very curious.

I am using Access 2002, and when I do what you say I can get a divider bar
on the menu, but that is not what I want.
I want a button (drop down box) on the toolbar with Horizontal Spacing and
Vertical Spacing with their individual options.
I can customize the toolbar by dragging these items from the Format menu, to
the toolbar I want, but then they don't appear on the Format menu. I want
them in both places.

Thanks for the suggestion.

I discovered how to do this!

Right click on the Toolbar, then select Customize.
Drag the items wanted from the Menu Bar to the Toolbar in question.
When the Toolbar is configured as wanted, select Customize again, highlight
Menu Bar on the Toolbar tab, then click the Reset button (on the right).

This leave the Toolbar as configured, and the Menu Bar as it was when Access
was installed.

Whoopee!
